Team coaching involves honing both individual skill and group talent.
Let me work with your team to share experiences, create interpersonal awareness and harness and build relationships to align and mobilise your team around a common purpose, establish an inspiring vision and team spirit, commit to joint goals, define clear roles and responsibility, improve communication and challenge and support each other.
Team coaching is particularly useful if you need to develop a new strategy or work plan; if your team is unable to reach its goals and deadlines; if you're facing perpetual team conflicts; if your team is uninspired and under-performing or if your team faces cultural and communication gaps that hinder the workflow. Team coaching helps teams reach their goals by reinforcing new behaviours, priorities and ways of thinking to create a sustainable environment that cultivates long-term excellence and success.
Depending on your specific team challenges, I can design anything from a couple of inspiring sessions to a series of team coaching sessions to help you align, motivate, inspire and support your team effectively.
Mbele's Standard Leadership Development & Coaching Programs
Leading with Intent is a 4-month comprehensive online leadership development and coaching program designed to help you better lead, align, mobilize and inspire your teams to achieve their desired results.
The program, which consists of 8 modules, offers 3 different packages:
Maximising Performance is a 6-month leadership development and performance improvement coaching process geared towards teams.
It focuses on improving the work culture and climate, team interactions and the supporting management systems in order to improve the overall performance and organisational results and outcomes.
The Standard Package combines self-learning sessions focussing on building your leadership and management skills with one-on-one coaching sessions to help you apply your learning to the challenges you face on the ground.
More specifically, it consists of
A total of 16 self-learning sessions (1 to 3 sessions per module). These take the shape of videos or PowerPoint presentations between 5-10 minutes each. They are available online for you to through every 2-3 weeks on your own at your own convenience
Some of the Modules include 1 or 2 short self-reflection assignments taking maximum 15-20 minutes each for you to do on your own at your own convenience
A total of 6 one-hour personal one-on-one zoom coaching sessions with me to be scheduled in-between the self-learning sessions at a time convenient to both of us
Each module includes a list of additional useful tips and resources to inspire and support you on your leadership journey – such as podcasts, Ted talks, articles and books
The Basic package is a purely self-learning program. It consists of the same 8 modules and includes the same 16 self-learning sessions, self-reflection assignments and lists of useful tips and resources. It does not include the 6 one-hour personal zoom coaching sessions with me.
The Premium package also consists of the same 8 Modules but instead of self-learning videos and presentations, you get 6 one-and-a-half-hour personally designed zoom training sessions with me covering the same material; 6 one-hour personal one-on-one zoom coaching sessions with me and the regular lists of useful tips and resources. You will also have access to the self-learning sessions.
The program is designed for any number of organisational teams of 4-6 people, up to a maximum of 25 participants. For example, you could have 3 teams of 6 people (18 pax) or 5 teams of 5 people (25 pax), etc. The teams should be made up of people who work together on a regular basis. For example, a unit within a department or people across departments all supporting the same program or project.
You can choose to either have
12 half-day training sessions every 2 weeks with 4-6 separate 2-hour team coaching sessions scheduled in-between the training sessions, or
6 monthly one-day training workshops with 4-6 separate 2-hour team coaching sessions scheduled in-between the workshops.
During the training sessions, participants are introduced to simple frameworks, models and/or practical tools to help them reflect and improve their leadership and management skills and capacity. The training sessions use participatory and experiential learning approaches linking the learning or discussion to personal experiences in order to gain a better understanding of the new knowledge and information.
Within the first 1-2 months, each team selects a real workplace challenge they would like to address and sets a measurable target to achieve by the end of the six months. They work on this challenge throughout the course of the program and receive continuous feedback and support through the on-site individual team coaching sessions, scheduled in-between the training sessions.
This provides an opportunity for the participants to begin to apply what they are learning in the training sessions to challenges they are facing on the ground, all the while building and strengthening their teams and teamwork.
